Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely famous. Sara Ramirez was raised by an American mother, and encountered a number of racial slurs, which made her feel unwelcome. After she participated in an event at school and was given great praise for her performance when she was in the ninth grade she began to gain confidence. This not only increased the confidence of her, but altered the direction she pursued in her professional career. In 1992, she earned her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. In 1993 she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot she portrayed the Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. Following that, in 2007 she was cast in the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. As a well-known singer, she also has released songs and plays. In addition, she is an LGBT activist.
