Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on the 14th of May 1964 to an Jewish Family. Suzy Kolber has reached the age of at 58. She is the mother of Sandra Kolber and her father is Gene Kolber. She graduated in 1982 from Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. In 1986 she graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in telecommunications from University of Miami. It was during this time that she became a sports director at Dynamic Cable located in Coral Gables Florida while she was still an undergraduate college student. In addition, she worked there for a period of two years, from 1984 till 1986. The time was when she was also part of the water ski team at The University of Miami. Plaza was a part of the Wilmington community theatre as a child, where she did improv and produced one-act plays. After graduation, she relocated into New York City after high school and studied the production of television and film at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and also took classes in comedy and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. At age 20 she suffered a stroke that caused temporary expressive aphasia (a deficiency in the expression as well as comprehension of language).
