Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach as well as trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie was the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she finished second. Annie Thorisdottir is the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. Her fame stems from her being the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. Winner at The Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. As a kid, she's been a competitive athlete and fitness enthusiast. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as at 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit Training in California in the year 2009. She did well on her first games, finishing with the top 10 in the rankings. The team did not make it to the top of the event and finished it with a ranking of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. After a year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance earned her the title. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of her first CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she received a gold medal. And in 2021, she won with a bronze. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face of many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and the Sidekick Yorbae. There are a few thousand subscribers to her self-titled Youtube channel where videos of training, travel vlogs and family videos are shared.
