Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and also has Chinese roots, but her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from an American family. Her parents divorced when she was the age of two. She was raised by her mother, who served as a pilot in the United States Air Force, and her stepfather. While the family left Oklahoma and lived in a variety of places, she was brought up in Tokyo, Japan. It was where she appeared in stage productions in this time and was a models for the Japanese business. Olivia relocated from her home in the United States back to Los Angeles to pursue the dream of becoming an actor. Following a series of minor performances, Olivia achieved success after she was cast as Mily Acua on the Hawaii television program Beyond the Break 2006 and as the receptionist of Rob Schneider. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" along with "The Daily Nut". She loves surfing and has been practising since watching the tv show Beyond the Break (2006). Also, she has Black Belt in Taekwondo. The year 2000 was when she turned two years of age, her mother remarried. The family has moved several times, but she was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan because that is the place where her father worked. Attended her studies at University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in journalism. She also minored in Japanese and drama arts.
